We are based at Valentine in the beautiful city of Lake Macquarie, NSW, Australia. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings during NSW School term time from 7-9pm at Valentine Public School (Tallawalla Road, Valentine NSW 2280).
Band membership fees
Our 2026 membership fees are $135 per semester, $90 concession rate for full-time students and those receiving pensions. Fees payable at the beginning of each semester (February and July).
Development Band fees are $40 per term, maximum $80 per family (i.e. 3rd and subsequent students from the same family are free).
Band uniform
Our band uniform for concerts and performances consists of black pants/skirt and shoes with a charcoal Lake Macquarie Winds collared shirt and aqua necktie. We have an alternate, aqua polo shirt for less formal occasions.
The Development Band uniform consists of black pants/skirt and shoes with a charcoal LMW polo.
Uniform shirts and polos have our embroidered logo and can be purchased directly from the band. Aqua neck scarves and ties are provided by the band.
Lake Macquarie Winds Concert Band
