We welcome woodwind, brass, percussion, or guitar/bass players of any ability. If you’d like to join us, just come along to a rehearsal or email Ruth, our band secretary, for more details.

We are based at Valentine in the beautiful city of Lake Macquarie, NSW, Australia. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings during NSW School term time from 7-9pm at Valentine Public School (Tallawalla Road, Valentine NSW 2280).
Band membership fees
Our 2024 membership fees are $130 per semester, $85 for students and those receiving pensions, payable at the beginning of each semester (February and July). For students of the same family, only one pays fees.
Band uniform
For concerts, we wear a charcoal coloured shirt with band logo, aqua necktie, with black pants/skirt and black shoes. For less formal occasions we have an aqua polo shirt.
The uniform can be purchased directly from the band. It is worn with black pants/skirt and black shoes. Aqua neck scarves and ties are provided by the band.
