Join us for our next concert on Sunday November 21st at 4pm at Rathmines Theatre. The band will be part of the History Illuminated Festival hosted by Lake Macquarie City Council.

Free tickets can be obtained from eventbrite.com.au.

Covid – 19 Arrangements

Due to Covid restrictions the band is unable to rehearse at Valentine Public School.

Please contact our Secretary secretarylmw@gmail.com if you would like to come along to one of our rehearsals which are being held in the Valentine area.

Covid – 19

Unfortunately our band rehearsals are now on hold due to the state wide Covid-19 situation in NSW. Our area is currently under lockdown.

We will be back to band as soon as lockdown finishes: let’s hope it’s soon!

Rathmines Theatre

What a great afternoon at Rathmines Theatre on June 12th. Both the band and the audience enjoyed it immensely: and yes, there were 3 encores!

Thanks to Lake Macquarie City Council for including us in the Dobell Festival.

The Dobell Festival

The band’s next appearance will be at The Dobell Festival on Saturday 12th June at 2pm in the Rathmines Theatre. We are delighted to be part of the festival which is named for well known and local artist Sir William Dobell:

‘The Lake Macquarie Dobell Festival is an annual month long celebration of what is the essence of Sir William Dobell – passion, innovation, fringe, experimentation and creative excellent.’ – Lake Macquarie City Council.

Please note that tickets to this event are free but due to Covid – 19 concerns it is necessary to register. Follow the link to receive an emailed ticket(s):

The Bands Return

2 great bands for the very low ticket price of $10!

On Sunday 23rd May at 2pm we will be presenting a concert in conjunction with the Newcastle PCYC Brass Band. After a year of no indoor concerts it will be great to be back at Adamstown Uniting Church for a relaxing afternoon of music.

Lake Macquarie Autumn Fair

The band is pleased to be able to support our local Rotary Clubs at their charity event to be held on Saturday 1st May. A fun day for all: market stalls, rides, and lots of entertainment.

Be there early to see us: we start playing at 9am.
